Seán Curran has always been interested in sketching and drawing from a very early age and first started painting in oils when he was about eleven years old. To be able to create light and shade and to make an object look three dimensional on a flat piece of paper was always something he delighted in, especially when he achieved it!
I, Seán Curran, have always been interested in sketching and drawing from a very early age and first started painting in oils when I was about eleven years old. To be able to create light and shade and to make an object look three dimensional on a flat piece of paper was always something I delighted in, especially when I achieved it!
I returned home to Ireland in 1997 and continued to improve my skills. I became more and more involved with various group exhibitions and eventually held a one-man show in The Hollow Restaurant, Wexford. This show proved to be a great success and set me on the road to exhibiting regularly here in Ireland. I continue to work and exhibit and on this web page, I have attached a number of images of my work.
