Design Lane (formerly Cow’s Lane Designer Studio) is a collaboration between several Dublin based designers, craft people, and artists.
It is a retail space with a difference as the space is run as a co-operative with each of our 5 founding members helping to shape the direction of the business and sharing the work.
Design Lane provides a very affordable option for anyone wishing to venture into selling their own creative endeavours.
The majority of our products are produced and handcrafted or designed here.
Design Lane is unique in the sense that the majority of the profits go back directly to the makers and designers and we do not charge high commissions to exhibit. Instead we are eager to provide a selling place for craftspeople and designers that facilitates small, independent business and products unique to Ireland.
It’s the perfect place for everyone to have a browse and be inspired by the many skills and disciplines that can be seen in the form of fused-glass pendants, pottery influenced by the Irish coast, and comic book decoupage furniture to name but a few.
