I am an architect in private practice, educated at University College Dublin, graduating with first class honours in 1992. I am also a member of the committee of DOCOMOMO Ireland, which is dedicated to the preservation of buildings of the Modern Movement.
Simon Walker, born in Dublin in 1962, and graduated from UCD in 1992, is an architect in private practice in Dublin. He is a studio tutor at UCD and a visiting critic at the DIT and the University of Limerick.
My work includes furniture design and I am a member of the Irish Furniture Designers Network, promoting our work through international fairs and exhibitions.
My practice is currently engaged in a variety of projects for public and private clients, including houses, urban renewal projects, apartment buildings, a public theatre and arts centre, a community centre, and a yacht club.
